The Cost of being a Disciple.

Luke 14:26-27

"26“If anyone comes to Me, and does not hate his own father and mother and wife and children and brothers and sisters, yes, and even his own life, he cannot be My disciple. 27“Whoever does not carry his own cross and come after Me cannot be My disciple."

Discipleship has never been this easy. They say when you get closer to God, when you are actually on the go for His calling that's when the 'evil spirit' attacks you. In that case, how prepared are you to go through all of it?

PERSECUTION That big word had so much effect on me especially when that thing comes from my very own mother and father. Its something destructive when its way too personal. I've lost the fire inside of me when it happened to me. I've been so lost and the only way I am able to go through with it is through PRAYERS. I asked God to speak to me, He gave me this verse. I actually heard this verse on a radio station when I am so down about what happened that day. See! God even uses things or people to reveal Himself to you. That is how amazing Jesus is! Now back to the verse, It simply says the cost of being a discipleship lies on the sacrifices you have to give in order to be His disciple. There's that Your parents will hate you, you will hate your own life and "hating" doesn't mean you have to literally hate or get angry to your parents and your life, it simply means you have to Love God first above all.

The verse also talks about picking up your own cross. If you have a relationship with God then you must know these one and if ever you don't have that relationship with God, this simply tells you to Sin No More.

This verse tells me to Pray over Persecution. Maybe this time they don't understand what you are doing but sooner or later they will just believe in the power of Jesus and ofcourse you pray for the people that persecutes you. Yes its hard but that's the cost. Jesus is the reward and isn't it worth it? Remember, You are made by God and for God.  God is always fighting for you ask for His strength and protection. Guard Your Heart and focus on Jesus. There is nothing a prayer can't do. Let Go of the things or even the relationship that hinders you to what God wants you to be.
